Pre and Post-Op Care
DMO is your go-to clinic for care before and after eye surgery. We see many LASIK patients as well as patients having cataract surgery.
Considering LASIK or corrective surgery?
Our optometrists will evaluate your eyes and talk through your options, including LASIK, PRK, SMILE, ICLs (Implantable Collamer Lenses) and RLE (Refractive Lens Exchange). We then refer you to the surgery center we have worked with for years, where they run advanced testing and confirm whether you are a candidate.
After surgery, close to home
Once your surgery is scheduled, we book your follow-ups here in Del Mar. They usually start the day after surgery and continue at set times over the next six months. After a year, we recommend a full exam to check the long-term results.
