A comprehensive exam is the foundation of your vision care. We check how well you see and how healthy your eyes are, and we take the time to explain what we find.
What we check
Regular exams let our doctors follow your eye health over time and act early if anything changes. A comprehensive exam at DMO includes:
- Vision and an updated prescription for glasses or contacts
- Eye pressure and a check for glaucoma
- The health of the retina and optic nerve
- Eye teaming, focusing and binocular vision
- Screening for conditions linked to overall health, such as diabetes and high blood pressure
For every age
We see patients of all ages, including children, teens and adults. For kids, a full exam goes further than a school screening and can catch focusing or eye teaming problems that affect reading and learning.
