Emergency Eye Care
Nobody plans for an eye emergency, but it helps to know who to call. Our doctors are ready and equipped to help with injuries, infections and sudden problems.
Call us first
If something is wrong with your eyes, call the office. We keep time for urgent visits and will see you as soon as we can.
- Scratches, foreign objects and other eye injuries
- Red, painful or infected eyes
- Sudden blurry vision, flashes of light or new floaters
When to go to the ER
For a chemical splash, rinse your eye with clean water right away for 15 minutes, then call. For severe trauma, sudden loss of vision with other symptoms such as weakness or slurred speech, or anything life threatening, call 911.
